Your First Visit

  1. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early and be prepared for a 90-minute Bikram Yoga class or a 75 minute Yin Yoga. Allow yourself time at the end of class to enjoy your savasana (relaxation after class for up to 15 minutes). It is so important that we start and finish the class together, so please arrive on time as there will be no late entries.
  2. Read through our website to better understand yoga and call us if you have any questions.
  3. To prepare for Bikram drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your visit—this will help ensure you are properly hydrated. It’s important to eat nutritious food no matter what class you are taking, but make sure you allow yourself time to digest. We recommend eating a minimum of two hours prior to your class. After a few classes, you’ll have an idea of your body’s threshold for when and what you can eat before class. Simple, digestible food for your last meal before class is recommended.
  4. You will be asked to fill out a waiver form at the studio. Please be sure to advise of any chronic or acute injuries or conditions that you are dealing with.
  5. Remember to breathe during class!
  6. Enjoy rehydrating after your class with your hydration fuel of choice. Ask us about electrolytes if you are unsure of your hydration levels.
